You must be a member to rope at the finals.
Membership must be active at the time of entry.
Membership usually lasts until the end of the season finale.
Ropings are ladies only.
NBL uses breakaway breakdown classification system.
Your classification can move up or down based on results, such as win/loss ratio and catch percentage.
All ropings are bell collar catch only.
Electric eye or rope barrier may be used.
Broken barrier = 10 sec penalty.
If calf does not cross score line or stumbles before score line, cowgirl must declare herself immediately to receive a re-run.
If cowgirl causes calf to set up, or pusher causes calf to fall and barrier is broken, a 10 second penalty will carry over to the re-run, but if cowgirl doesn’t declare herself and throws her rope it will be a no time.
Rope and flag must be securely tied.
If nod is missed by gatemen you must pull up and not throw rope to receive a re-run.
Fees must be paid before you rope.
All entries will remain open until the end of the 1st round.
You must follow your calf out to the stripping chute and exit from other side of the pen. $10 fine per occurrence if you do not follow your calf out.
